My wife and I came to Indy on a weekend trip. It was around 11 PM or so and we wanted something to eat. The majority of the restaurants in the downtown area were closed, so we decided to give this place a try. The food tasted great. The atmosphere was comfortable. The staff was friendly and even helped point us in the direction of other attractions in the area that we may be interested in visiting while down this way. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area again.

Reminded me of an episode of Bar Rescue. Service was terrible, we had no idea who our server was. Rude staff. Extremely slow. Bartenders were sitting down, smoking while we waited 20 minutes to get served. The food was terrible and made my stomache sick afterwards. The pulled pork came on a soggy bun and the meat tasted like spam. The fries came out cold. They didn't have any ketchup left on any of the tables. The chicken wings barely had any sauce on it. Im not a picky eater, but overall, it was probably the worst restaurant/bar I've been to in Indy.

Two things I never expected to go well together, prime rib and pasta, now never go so well apart. The étouffée is excellent as well. The restaurant is a bit of a whole in the wall but I wouldn't change a thing. Friendly and quality service and spectacular food.

I almost felt compelled to give this place 5 stars based on how many times I've been here (25+ easily), but I just couldn't. The food is great for bar food, and I order almost exclusively from the sandwiches menu on the back. I can personally vouch for the grilled chicken sandwich, burger, and the club sandwich. All are personal favorites. I will say stay away from the French dip sandwich: the au jous sauce is WAY too salty, and that's coming from someone who loves salt.

Really only giving this 4 stars because of the management. They're pretty rude, though the servers are fine. Just don't try to host any events here. They know they'll be packed anyways and treat you accordingly.

Impression: Adult food joint with good beers. They have lots of sidewalk and second floor patio seating which is great during nice warm weather. The inside is a bit stuffy, and not worth it in my opinion when there are more spacious restaurants nearby that also serve good food. The staple of this place is that its outdoor eating in an area near the canal that is becoming more populated (which is good).

Pros: Outdoor eating is fun, beer selection is good. Food is above average bar food. I have enjoyed all the sandwiches I have ordered here.

Cons: Service is slow. If you eat here expect a long time for everything. Sometimes waiting for a table, and once you're sitting its still a long time before you are brought a beer and food takes a long time to cook.

Conclusion: Its an extremely casual restaurant that, in my opinion, is not worth dining at unless you can eat outdoors. The inside is dark and dungy and the food is good, but not great to eat in that environment when there are other establishments nearby that offer similar quality food with better indoor seating.

Great for: beer drinking, evening eating with a small group of friends (6-8 or less), casual dining with sandwiches, lunch, great for outdoor eating (not indoor)
