The place is small, staff is super friendly and know everything about the menu. Not a fancy place but the food is good.

The food was very good. I had the special: a pastrami w/ Russian dressing and coleslaw on marble bread. I also had a side of habanero BBQ sauce that was (as Guy Fierri would say) off the hook, it definitely took the sandwich to another level. I highly recommend coming to the Box Car Cafe, then coming again and again and again and...

I had today's special; house made pastrami w/creamy Russian dressing and coleslaw.
Most likely the very best pastrami I've ever had this was a great sandwich.
I'm going back for the pulled port next
Old school cafe, nice clean, and the smoke smells divine.
