Went here last week for our honeymoon dinner. Ordered two appetizers, two steaks, and 3 sides. When the appetizers came they were so overly seasoned it was almost hard to eat. We didn't say anything at this point with hopes that the steak wouldn't be the same. You could literally feel the salt grains crunching between your teeth. The $50 steaks came and we're the exact same. No flavor except coarse salt. It was inedible. At $50 a steak we decided we need to send it back. Along with a baked potato we ordered that was glistening in salt as well. The service was great and they were very apologetic. When the steaks came back out they were rushed when cooked- had zero flavor and we're nearly raw. At this point we ate what we could. When the bill came we expected to maybe have a little bit of a discount as a sorry, but this didn't happen. The bill was $250 American ( nearly $300 Canadian for us). It makes me sick to think we spent this much on such a bad quality of food. Basically if you like salt, and I mean salt, this is your place to go.

I had a great experience the first time I dined here in late 2008, when Brand was fairly new, but it took almost seven years for me to return in 2015. The reason for the delay, Brand gets lost in the crowd of steakhouses along the Las Vegas strip. That being said in my opinion it is still one of the better places to get a great steak. On this occasion, we came in a large group with reservations for dinner and were seated promptly in one of the semi-private rooms towards the back of the restaurant that holds a large rectangular dining room table with large plush chairs.

The main server we had was extremely pleasant and very attentive. Service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered a few appetizers to start. The calamari was standard fair, crispy but nothing to write home about. We saved our appetites for the steak of course. We ordered two sizes of the “Ultimate Steak”, one for six and one for four. The steaks were large juicy bone-in porterhouse steaks that were pre-cut before serving. We also ordered a bunch of sides that included mushrooms, mac &cheese, cream spinach, gnocchi, and mashed potatoes. I have to say the steak was the real star of the show (as it should be), flavorful and tender, delicious! The sides on the other hand were not the most memorable, but still good accompaniments. Keep in mind prices are fairly steep when everything is said and done, but on the flip side you are paying for prime steak so indulge a little.

My only negative, if you can count it as negative, is that Brand is located inside the Monte Carlo. The Monte Carlo isn’t a bad hotel if you will, but Brand can easily be placed in a higher tier hotel on the strip and perform even better. Nonetheless, Brand Steakhouse is a fine restaurant where you’ll get great food and great service, can’t really ask for more.

HAVE the 24 hour caramelized onion soup, and then have one of the best steaks you'll ever eat. Do not order it well and expect it to be tender. Do not expect to go to a 5 star Vegas steakhouse on a Golden Corral budget! Worth every penny!

We are in Vegas, and THIS is fancy dining. Brand Steakhouse is one of the fancy spots that you'll find in the fancy strip casinos. I wouldn't have came here otherwise since I'm not a fancy fan, but this is the time for splurging and rewarding yourself for being an awesome person. My group purchased a prix fixe which included appetizer, entree and dessert.

-=-Beef carpaccio-=- Thin cut slices of raw beef. Here's the kicker, they were topped with truffle slices. These were delicious. We also had tuna tartare at the table, but I preferred this for an appetizer.

-=-Mac cheese-=- I got to try this from a neighbor. It's cheesy and good. Really, the frills here are the bread crumbs on top. While it wasn't unique enough to meet the caliber of gourmet food, I would have gladly scarfed these down in any other situation.

-=-Filet Mignon, rare-=- It was either filet, salmon, or chicken. It came with 2 different sauces, but none that I really liked. The cream sauce was too strong on the milky side, and the pepper sauce had an undesirable after-taste. I ate the filet the way I usually eat my steaks, sauceless. While a filet cut is usually the most tender, for some reason my meat just seemed a bit too tough for my taste....tough meaning too warm of a temperature.

-=-Cheesecake-=- It seemed there was no way to go wrong with the choices of 2 desserts here. I enjoyed this cheesecake thoroughly. It wasn't too sweet and was rather large and fluffy, exactly how I enjoy my cheesecakes.

$48 for a steak with no side. Sides are $10 more. My steak came out and was cooked the way I asked but once I bit into it it was like chewing leather and very bland. Don't waste your time going here. Tried the prime rib as well and also a disappointment. Go to the Road house just outside the Monte Carlo much better food.
