AMAZING service!!! A friend and I originally visited the W. 9th area (on a Thursday night) to dine at another establishment, but the service was terrible, so we left before ordering. We decided to take a chance on Brasa, not knowing what to expect and were blown away by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. From the greeters, to the servers, everyone greeted us, explained the process of ordering, offered us more of the food we liked (they bring out 12 different cuts of meat!), and engaged us in conversation (my friend does not live in Cleveland). The buffet food was not astounding, but it was the perfect temperatures and seasoned very well. The meats were also seasoned wonderfully, and did not need any sauce or season to accompany it -- which is rare for me. I absolutely loved the ambiance of the place and am currently searching for a reason to host a party there. The only suggestion is to enhance the tasting experience by offering an assortment of different sauces or flavors to add to the meat if one so chooses.

Very nice restaurant, the staff was very nice. I ordered a caipirinha to drink it was very good. But the food was bad. The food that was at the buffet was old it was crunchy. The meats weren't bad, but it's not worth what they charge.

AWFUL SERVICE!!!!! Where do I even start? Well the food is incredible. But that is the only thing. We had a party of 15 people. (we of course had a reservation) The staff was mostly unpleasent. It took my significant other 15 minutes to get her glass of wine. The gap in between the gentlemen bringing the food was pathetic. At one point we were all sitting with EMPTY PLATES for almost TEN MINUTES. Our drinks remained empty for most of the evening. It was just sad. I feel like I should also specifiy that this place was basically empty. Not more than 10-12 tables. The service is better at Fridays. I'm not even exaggerating. I would imagine a lot of people go there for what most would call a "fine dining experience." You will not get that. If you want a great place to spend a couple hundred dollars and leave angry, BRASA GRILL IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. Shall I continue? At the end of the meal, the "manager" brought us the check. the whole check. Not split. At all. There is a part of FIFTEEN PEOPLE. Am I wrong to assume that someone who is in managment at a place of Brasa's caliber would have enough common sense to check and see if our PART OF FIFTEEN PEOPLE may want the check divided. No I am not. He was trying to pull a fast one on us because I happen to know that gratuity is automatically included on 8 people or more. It's a good thing because if any of us had any say in it they would have gotten NOTHING. When I asked him to split the check he initally refused. Something that they HAVE to do upon the customers request. He refused and could not give me a reason why he could not other than "it was time consuming." Those were his words verbatim. Well, he ended up slitting it up and I left angry. We all did. This place used to be INCREDIBLE. Now it's a joke.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I can't express how poor the service was. Such a shame because the food is actually pretty good. They won't be getting any more of my hard earned money. Definitely a shame that they include the 20% gratuity automatically, because they damn well know they wouldn't get it otherwise.
