10/11/2015 6:54 amOne of the best I've ever been to it actually said on the site it had a roof bar I didn't believe it because there's a enclosed space that didn't have an open sky and I thought that was it. But upon going to the bathroom I realize to go to the rooftop bar you have to go up 3 flights of stairs but it's amazing. Best service I've ever had at a bar also. I left a tip and for the first time it was out of amazement and not out of social guilt. We were in DC one night and this bar made it amazing. I will be returning next year. There is karaoke downstairs and dancing on the first floor and on the second it's a normal bar scene and on the third another nice bar and fourth, bam roof bar that is amazing. 5 stars well deserved |

08/06/2014 2:05 amAt first when my friend invited me out, i wasn't too excited because of the reputation of the adam's morgan. I thought the streets would be flooded with drunk people and just was not that interested that night. |

01/26/2013 8:46 amMy Yelp review: I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but unfortunately I'm not permitted. This past Sunday my friends and I were in Adams Morgan looking to hang out maybe have a few drinks and watch the FB game. After wondering around AdMo looking for something fun to do (It was still pretty early around 6:30/7 so most bars weren't really up and running yet) we came here although nobody was inside. Half of the group came in first sat down and 1 out of the 4 ordered a beer while we waited for our friends to come from a store they stopped at. When the ladies came in the owner went over to the door I thought it was to check IDs since the doorman wasn't in yet. Instead after he rudely asked for their IDs he got into my one friends face and proceeded to say that there was a one drink minimum. I didn't really pay attention to him because 1. We had just walked in 2. I won't be forced into buying drinks 3. They weren't busy, actually we were the only people there so we weren't taking up bar space for paying customers. We are there for maybe another ten minutes or so when he all of a sudden begins SCREAMING at us about how this is a business and we all need to purchase something or we have to leave. Another girlfriend was in the process of ordering and the girls just coming in had barely warmed their seats. I'm not sure if this was racism since we were an all black group or if he just had a stick up his but either way that was my first and LAST time there. I feel bad because the waitress was really nice and did explain after his tirade that one drink minimum is company policy. However he delivery would have been much better. The place looks run down as if people just come and throw up and tear up the joint they didn't even have food. He should have been happy that someone was in his establishment to actually bring customers inside. We weren't being rude or belligerent so there was no need to go on a rant about it being a business or whatever. I'm not being paid to keep your company afloat you have a PR team for that and apparently they aren't doing a great job! |

11/26/2015 10:06 pm"Multiple rooms of dancing, karaoke, drinks and good times" spread out over four levels (including a "great roof deck") help a pack of "frat bros" and twentysomethings "get a little rambunctious" at this enduring Adams Morgan bar; yes, you'll sometimes see "sweaty public makeouts", but the "wild times" mean it's a "really good place for a party night." |
