Poor service. Not a great latte. No Wi-Fi. It's a sit-down cafe. If you're looking for a cafe to do work, don't go here.

For those of you who hate Starbucks for whatever anti-WTO reasons you have will love Bread and Chocolate. Its got all the benefits of a non-global chain without the glitches of a mom and pop shop. Freshly baked treats and expertly brewed coffee make this a perfect respite from the business of downtown with a good cup of joe with plenty natural light and seating where the person sitting next to you isn't right in your lap.

Best cafe experience ever! The chai latte they serve is the best I have ever had, and I have had enough to say that. The environment is a relaxed Saturday afternoon even on a stressful monday morning in november. I say go if you have the chance, because the truth is, Washington D.C. has it all even a little cafe from a corner of france, and everyone deserves to see it.
