Breadsmith, Mesa, Arizona, Bakery Restaurant Details

Food:

The bakery routinly runs out of breads and other items by early afternoon. Additionally, they have closed early several times. The advertised hours on Saturday say they are open until 5:00 however, I have been there shortly after 4:30 and it was closed - very frustrating when you made a special trip there to pick up something fresh for a dinner party. Saturday, Jan. 12th was the last time I found an early closing (at 4:40 p.m.).

From day to day inconsistent in quality, you never know what your going to get. Over baked under baked.

Best bread in all of AZ. My wife is from Germany and is very particular of good bread & she loves it! When her family is in town from Germany that is the only place they say that reminds them of food back home.

Quite possibly the best artisan bakery in the Phoenix Metro area. Fresh, crusty, with good crumb and wonderful flavors to experience. And no, I don't work there and never have!
