Breakfast King, Denver, Colorado Restaurant Details

Food:

The food is pretty okay, but let's face it. We're all here because it takes us back in time. From the uniforms for the servers, to the servers themselves, to the orange and chrome bankett seating. This place is awesome.

Food:

I love this place because it's retro, clean, been in business since 1977, servers don't leave, owners actually manage the place, food is basically good, prices are reasonable, everyone is basically friendly, and you can dine 24/7, and there is is large group of regulars. The combination of these yields a good profitable restaurant where customers enjoy themselves. What else would you basically need?

Food:

This is a good ol' greasy spoon with good food, though due to the massive size of the menu, there are bound to be some let downs. Stick to the breakfast/diner items and you'll be fine. You don't go to a 24 hour diner and order seafood or crab and expect it to be bomb. Just common sense.

Food:

The positive... Great service, fast. Great cup of coffee. The not so great... I ordered hash browns cooked light and bacon.

The order came out in less than 2 minute. Wow! But the bacon was cold ( not even warm from a heat light lol) and the hash browns were already cooked as well and were not cooked light... They were a tad warm. I think had I ordered something like an omelette it would have been warm and freshly prepared.

Food:

I was in Denver for business and wanted somewhere to get breakfaat before my 9 hour drive home. I read the reviews of this place and thought "eh, I'll try it". I come from the Midwest and Deep south so I like to think I know comfort food and I must say this place beat my expectations. I felt right at home the moment I walked in and my waitress was quite frankly the best I have ever had. She refilled my drinks without having to be asked and checked up on me before i had realized I needed something. The food was amazing, tasted just like my dad had cooked it when I was little and the serving size was perfection. I only waited for 15 minutes (maybe) before it was placed in front of me piping hot (they were busy at this time as well). I will be returning here for food if I am ever in Denver again, and I will look forward to tasting the marvelous food again.
