As expected, this brewpub offers a large beer selection, including flights of eight (!). The food ranges from mediocre to quite good; I'd pass on the salads which are on the former end. The space is massive, two floors, with multiple bars, though only the first floor seems to be open for lunch. I did have an odd experience where the host cancelled my Open Table reservation instead of checking me in, but otherwise, the staff seems really friendly and eager to accommodate.

We stopped by halfway through a 30 mile bike ride for a quick drink. Ended up having the 10 beer flight with a pretzel plate. There are some very tasty beers in their selection, we particularly enjoyed the Ebenezer seasonal, the Knucklehead, and the Double Red Ale. Pretzels were lovely, too.

BridgePort is a Portland institution that's been around longer than most of microbrewers that you'll stumble across in the city. That being said, they keep it on the safe side beer wise, but they're all tasty and the prices are reasonable. The food is similar in that it's good bar fare, but nothing that you'd seek out. The patio space is limited and in high demand come summer time, so be prepared to wait if you're dead set on sitting outside on a warm summer evening. The rest of the year find a spot upstairs where it's always busy but not so crowded that you have to yell to be heard.

Awesome brewery, good food and a Portland staple for beer drinkers and brewery goers....recently held a business event in the private upstairs area and it was excellent. Only complaint from the business side was that you could hear the people in the bar cheering for the game that was going on (but we probably shouldn't have scheduled an event during game time)

With all the quality breweries in the area, I wouldn't put this one on your list. The draw here is the deck during the summertime, which becomes a great people-watching spot. However, it's too big of an establishment to have real quality service or even a memorabe meal. Nothing on the menu really stands out, and although I haven't had anything bad, it's just pub food, and it's just average beer.
