Horrible Service they have a bunch of Dominican ladies at the bar that wont even acknowledge/greet you making the environment hostile and negative. I dont know if this a cultural thing or a lack of education.
The food was oily and salty, in other words it sucked.

Ever since I moved to the Bronx everyone has always suggested this place to me. Finally, after 3 years I decided to give it a try. That was a mistake! As I was talking on the phone & sitting waiting for my food, a Freaking Roach ran across the table!!

This place was HORRIBLE. Judging from the outside, I initially thought it would be a pretty good eat. However when i entered, the waitress (whatever her name was) was extremely impolite and RUDE. We literally sat down and waited for what seemed like FOREVER before we even got our orders taken, and even after that, we waited about 1Hour for our food. Upon receiving the food, It was OVERLY salty, very oily, and the baked Salmon tasted very RAW (like sushi) "BAKED SALMON" was the title on this dish, which consisted of mainly of raw fish, as in a famine zone where ovens are nonexistant. This place was disgusting, and the waitress who served me was disgusting likewise. I will be calling NYC Public Health to report this. Brisas del Caribe -- PICK UP THE SLACK OR CLOSE DOWN.

This is were the locals go for fast fresh Latin food. Low prices and huge plates of rice and beans with choice of meat. The lunch special platters never fail. Wish the 10-15 attendants were paying more attention to the customers than themselves. They tend to take forever taking orders and checking on you. That's my only complaint. But if you take food to go, you're in and out quickly.
