Broadway Cafe, Atlanta, Georgia Restaurant Details

Food:

A much needed redesign(after their poorly thought-out last redesign) made this place great again! They're now open early for breakfast and offer bagels and omelettes. My wife and i went for dinner last night. She received a huge stuffed calzone and i the salad bar. Not mentioned was that certain items in the salad bar selection cost extra (sun-dried tomatoes, feta). Definitely worth checking out.

Food:

I want to like this place. I have been coming here for years. It's one of the few kosher places in Atlanta that isn't just serving your stereotypical shwarma or falafel on a pita. The problem is when you have a monopoly over a specific market you can apparently do what ever you want. You can be rude to customers. If you advertise fresh bagels made daily you can easily run out and force the customer to order something they didn't necessarily want, but what can you do, it's the only place to go. Broadway has the potential to do really well, a vegetarian, vegan, kosher restaurant in a city near a large university has potential to do great. What does Broadway do, they rely on their target market knowing they can overcharge for poor service because they are the only dairy kosher restaurant in Atlanta. I would love to give them some advice, but I highly doubt they would take it. The owner is winning, despite their routine bad service and mediocre over priced food, because where else is an observant Jew going to go in Atlanta for some pizza or a bagel?

The food was excellent and the service was as well. I love the many options I could pick and the as a big fan of pizza I have to say that the pizza here is "awesome." I already told a few friends to go there to check it out when ever they are in Atlanta. Also the employs there are very nice and their service is great.

I was leery about coming here after reading all the reviews, but I had a great experience. The host was attentive and even recommended the popular dish - the earth quesadillas. I used my Scoutmob app so I received 50% off. They were pretty good, although I kind of wanted to try the eggplant dish. I'd go back again since it's not too far from where I work. And I overheard someone ordering beignets, so I want to try these next time.

Food:

Staff was replaced. Decor was changed. Prices went up. Best items were removed from menu. Couldn't break a 50.
