A must stop place when you're in Siesta Key! New Orleans flavors mixed with traditional southern fare. Just about everything on the menu is amazing.
It gets busy on the weekends but they have lost of seating - indoors and out. Service is quick and attentive (they gave us a free sample of beignets (New Orleans powdered donuts) which rivaled the Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter).

You'll regret spending time at the beach and missing this wonderful slice of fun right in the middle of Siesta Key!

Prices are average $9-15. Apps are $5 or less. Service is phenomenal. Truly a hidden gem near the best beach in Florida!

My husband and I ate here the morning of Friday, May 22nd 2015 and were totally grossed out by roaches. We sat at the bar becasue everything else was full and when we were about half way done with breakfast a little roach came crawling across the bar. My husband quickly killed it and then I looked over at the wall beside him and there were more. We got up immediately and let the waitress know very quietly and discreetly what had just happened, her response was "oh they sprayed for bugs the day before and that makes them come out and then they die". We asked for our bill because we wanted to get out of there quickly. She gave it to us and didn't even offer to do anything to make up for that happening or for the fact that we left half of our breakfast sit because of roaches crawling around us. If they are out on top of the bar can you imagine what they were like behind the bar or even the kitchen. VERY DISGUSTED and will never be back.

I always enjoy coming here and having breakfast on the outside patio. Some food favorites are Stan's Mardi Gras omelete and Crabcakes Cavallo benedict--a few selections from a pretty diverse menu.

Literally the best place I have ever eaten breakfast in my life. I was there today with my wife and another couple. Everyone loved their food and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.
