Brown Bag Deli, San Diego, California Restaurant Details

Sandwiches are good and plenty to choose from... when they are open. I've been there twice in the last 3 weeks and they have been closed during hours in which they claim to be open. Very disappointing because I've been craving a sub there.

great great GREAT lil "hole in the wall" sammich place --- i love their #20 (turkey, avo, bacon) - started going there when i was in the navy, now every time i'm in the area around lunchtime i stop in:)

I'm not sure what is so great about the bread. But overall, the sandwiches are very similar to what I remember from my middle school cafeteria. If you have nostalgia for that kind of thing, you'll like this place.
The prices are pretty good, but the quality of the meats, cheese, and other fixings is so-so.
Nowhere to park, nowhere to sit and eat, this place is inconvenient.
For a dollar or two more, I would rather eat at Subway.
