Only problem is they don't wear food service gloves or hornets.

When I first began to eat at this restaurant that I just happen to stumble upon one morning, I was delighted with the way the food was set up and the women that worked there were elder women that gave you the feeling of "Grandmas" working in the kitchen, so you know it's going to be good. Everything including the tender juicy liver and onions that melt in your mouth, or whatever else you see you would be guaranteed to enjoy it. The Grandmas that were serving the customers all were well put together and very tidy women that also wore hairnets (yay). I found myself going to the Brown Derby every morning for about two weeks straight. I was hooked on the flavor and the large portions that were given even in a "small" breakfast, and the price was very reasonable.
I had to infom some of my family and friends, and they too were delighted. I also stopped by on occassion for the lunches which were simply delightful as well. Mind you, the outside of this restaurant is not as delightful as the inside, but I didn;t want to be judgemental by judging a book by its cover, I was very dissappointed when suddenly I went into the Brown Derby, and the Grandmas that I was so pleased with that had previously served me were scattered about and there was only one remaining with two other women who I had never seen that didn't remind me of my Grandma at all, especially when I completed my thorough look around for my Grandmas to discover the women were not wearing a hairnet. I was so disturbed, I asked them about the hairnets, and I was just looked at with this whatever look. Then some woman in the line decides to shout out, "black people are something" which I guess she was implying that black people shouldn't be concerned with hairnets we should just eat hair..lol! I mentioned the situation to the manager and ignored the lady, but the manager just said ok, and never addressed the issue because when I went back a few other times some days later, still the staff was different and the hairnets were no longer in existence. To the readers of this review, if you aren't into hairnets and just want good food no matter if its prepared with hairnets or not, then you would love the Brown Derby.
