It's "okay" - the shower was awful, no water pressure to speak of. The price was way too high for what you get. Yes, the rooms are spacious but I would expect more of the bathroom area. The parking is valet only and the cost is $40. The piano playing in the open area was loud enough to hear in the room, which disturbed our nap. We had two drinks in the "smoking" lounge and it was $40. Just not worth the money we had to spend.

I love this hotel. It is the oldest hotel in Denver I believe, and it has a lot of charm. Food is very good in the main restaurant, and the rooms are beautiful. I always have family and friends stay here if they are going to be in the Downtown Denver area. Great location, great spa, very classy place.

My wife and I had high tea here in celebration of our anniversary. As someone who lived in England for seven and half years and has visited tea shops good enough for the British royalty to visit when they're in town, I know what a great high tea is like. The Brown Palace gets remarkably close, with the exception of two things: The first cup of tea was colder than it should have been. It was fine after one of the servers came over and topped up the hot water, though. The second thing is that the scones were slightly over done, making the bottoms crunchier than they should have been. And, darn it, a scone is supposed to be ROUND, not triangular! I can't recall ever seeing a triangular scone in all my years in England. But that's just a pet peeve. :-) I'd certainly recommend the Brown Palace to anyone looking for a good high tea.

Would not recommend at all unless you want to partake in tea time in your business suit.

Rooms are average at best. Air conditioning didn't work in both rooms I was put in.

The spa is insanely over priced. I've had a better massage for 50 dollars.

I left after second night and switched to the Renaissance down the street. One of the better hotels I've been to.

Unless you are in business suits staff will treat you like you like you don't matter.

Pass on this one, people stay here to say they stayed there.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. Although, the Brown Palace is a beautiful historic hotel in Denver, it leaves a lot to be desired as far as customer service goes. Check in is supposed to be at 3pm. I called days in advance to see if I could request an early check in. Although, not guaranteed they said they'd try and would add a note to our hotel confirmation. Not only were we unable to check in early, our rooms weren't ready until 5pm! 2 hours after check in time. The hotel was not at all apologetic for the delay and didn't even seem to have a reason for not having our rooms ready in time. We were hosting a large group of people in town on business and we had to completely change our agenda due to the two hour wait to check in. I would NOT recommend the Brown Palace. The staff was snobby and I did not feel at all welcomed or well taken care of during our stay. There are plenty of other hotels in Denver that can get you checked in on time and a friendly staff to give you a warm welcome and enhance your stay here in Colorado, the Brown Palace is just not one of them.
