For my first time eating here. It was a very tasteful lunch. The wait staff today we're all very nice young lady's. I believe I will come back here with my kids for lunch.
So for all those reviews about the wait staff are not true. These ladies are great and fast.

I have been going to Brownie's since I was a little kid. Every time my wife and I come to town we always have to stop in and get a couple of burgers. The one thing that I can notice is that the burgers have changed in taste with the new owner's. I guess they thought they could improve on something that didn't need any improving on. Even with that change I still look forward to coming here after my 10-11hr drive. Plus my wife like's buying the Brownie's T-Shirts.

FOOD IS THE BEST!!! homemade burgers and awesome original root beer recipe, but the staff is actually very rude. Being from out of state, I had heard great recommendations, but when I got to the restaurant, the waitstaff acted like nothing was their responsibility. Several offensive jokes the server told really threw off the atmosphere, and my visit just confirmed that nothing on this earth can be 100% perfect. Besides one of the cooks who basically took care of my family, the entire waitstaff was a major dissapointment. Not coming back until the staff matures and starts respecting customers.

I go to Brownies occasionally . I started going there in the late 70's, When I started having children I took them there and now I take my grandchildren. My son actually bargained a piece of pie from Brownie when he was 6 in return for the pie my son swapped his "Bateman" toy. The meat on the burgers use to be a nice piece of meat but now it is way too thin, but they are tasty. The fries are perfect just the portion is now smaller, the root beer is still perfect and the pies are fabulous. The atmosphere is exactly what it always use to be with friendly people working there. Yes the waitresses sometimes are too busy to give you the best service but then again they are busy and not just standing around so you can't fault them for that. Brownies is an old landmark so that lets you forgive anything you find not to be like it was way back when. Times change and so do your memories. So jump in your car go to Brownies and get yourself a piece of the fabulous pie and a root beer with all the free refills you can drink.
