It's a wild ride. Sometimes you get an adequate amount of cream cheese; sometimes you wish you hadn't bothered. It depends on who's working. There's a cashier clearly down the autism spectrum. I don't mind any of these potential setbacks, because it has encouraged me to learn to make my own bagels at home.

Food:

I could have done with a little more cream cheese on my bagle and without the arrogant, apathetic attitude of the guy behind the counter. Some people have no business being in customer service. At least the young women working here this afternoon were upbeat.

Went here today on 10/11 an middle aged man helped me who clearly did not want to be there. It only took 1minute for him to throw off my good morning.

Very rude in asking questions and charged me extra because he barely put on any cream cheese ? Okay I don't care about the extra charge (first time ever been charged extra for barely any cream cheese). Then I get to pay and the lady is asking me what I ordered expecting only the terminology they use...literally asking me what button she should press on the register ? I don't know what you are supposed to press?!

She didn't even know they charged extra for cream cheese I guess? Which they prob don't but that guy was a a***hole.

Never again.

They make my morning every single day. Everyone is amazing. I've been to Brueggers all over the city and in Iowa, and this one is always the best.

Food:

bruegger's bagels is always good and I often order boxes for various meetings for work. Sometimes I call ahead, sometimes I walk in and order boxes on the spot. Today I wanted 2, so I called ahead before i left my house to let them know and got quite a bit if push back for my order with instructions to order 24 hours ahead for boxes. I said I could call a different location or pick up a little later in the morning, but they said they would do their best. Even when I got to the store for pick up I was again told how my order was a catering order like I was doing something wrong. When i explained i often get boxes with less than 24 hour notice at my usual location she just told me, "well they must be expecting you". I have never had such a bad experience getting a box or boxes for a meeting before. I will not be coming back to this location. I will stay with my preferred location on Energy Park Drive who are always happy to take my order.
