I was in there to get a bag of day-old bagels and the guy mistakenly thought I said "stale bagels." He says, with attitude, "first of all, they're not stale..." I interrupted, annoyed at being taken as rude, to say, "I said 'day old', not 'stale.'" He grouchily said he couldn't hear with the drive-through headphones on, which is fair enough. While he was combining two bags, I composed a sincere apology for being huffy, but another employee rang me up. The first guy walks up and tells her not to give me their buy-one-get-one deal. She's confused, but he just says, meaningfully, "We're not doing it." and walks away. Maybe there was some other reason, but the way he was sly about telling her and avoided eye contact with me (which I was seeking so I could apologize), made it pretty plain that he was retaliating. All I did was use a slightly impatient tone of voice in saying that I wasn't calling their bagels "stale," and this dude denies me of $3.50 of bagels that anyone else would have gotten. Which isn't even worth the trouble of writing this (especially since I could have misread the situation), but it made me feel better, so there you go.

I was Invisible. I used to stop at this Brugger's at least once or twice week and always got good service & food. But lately I've been waiting in line for an inordinate amount of time for a bagel. Today was too much. My wife and I stood AT the counter for 5 or 6 mins. No one even acknowledged us. Everyone of the 6 people behind the counter were working the drive thru and, although they were literally standing in front of us, no one greeted us, told us "just a moment please", or anything. So we walked out. Corporate needs to send someone to help this place get it together.

Its a good place just to be...and do your work with a delicious sandwich..Really good and hard working staff . International Student at NC State and is always my first choice for a good breakfast.

I just had an outstanding experience at brueggers on december 23rd . the too young ladies working up front are really really nice and helped with menu choices
