08/27/2014 2:01 amWe drove a half an hour from our vacation spot ,because we read great reviews about the place. The atmosphere was nice and so was the waitress , but the food was awful. My daughter wanted the linguini with clam sauce minus the mushrooms and olives.Never heard of linguini with clam sauce having these additional ingredients. The sauce was pre-made which is another negative. She ordered pasta with marinara sauce instead and had heartburn for a few hours afterward. My other daughter's salmon tasted like chicken. The sauce on it was awful. I asked for shrimp and scallops over pasta AL DENTE. The dish had no taste whatsoever and the pasta was awfully mushy. My wife's shrimp was good, but the side vegetables and mashed potatoes were dry. The house salads were tasty, but how difficult is it to mess up salad. Needless to say, it was very disappointing to us New Yorkers, |
