The ark, candle-lit atmosphere was amazing and the staff very friendly. The best part is that there isn't a drink menu so you can fine tune your favorite drink with specifics or they will make a drink to fit your liquor and flavor preferences.

I loveeeeee this place!!!!! The drinks are superb.. I love the ambience and the bartenders are off the chain.. Will come back again for sure.. Ummmmmaaaa

A year ago, I used to come here a lot with my friends and rave to people I know about how great the drinks and atmosphere are here. However, I came back after a long hiatus and certainly the drinks are still good, but the service is the worst I've seen from any business. I agree with some other comments that it's not as good as it used to be or maybe changed management. I had an issue at my table and asked the server to bring her manager. The manager was very unprofessional and even cut off my one friend speaking and was raising her voice at us, which was completely unacceptable. She even walked away and did not resolve the issue at hand. We weren't even being rude and I know every time I come here there's a long wait (sometimes 45 min on a busy night), so the manager should have at least been cordial. Although this may market itself as a classy cocktail lounge, the attitudes of the workers are not classy at all. Honestly, Milwaukee has several amazing lounges and bars and this particular business has lost my loyalty.

This place might changed management that it is not as good as before. The past two visits has been really bad. The drinks are still good, but the service is VERY bad.
Last time we waited for an hour for the seat for 5 people, then after we finally got seated, they rejected to serve us because one of our friend forgot to bring her ID. She can't even just stay with us and drink water but has to leave the place right away! The server were just very rude in handling the situation and we don't want to leave our friend alone so we all left and went somewhere else.
Tonight we went again to give this place another try, but bad experience again. We barely touched our drinks and the server already asked us to pay and close the tab. She said they can only take up to two credit cards so one of our friends paid in cash. The drink's only supposed to be $8 but she asked for $10. When we asked if we can get a receipt, she rejected saying you only get receipt when you pay with card. Also she never came to our table and check us besides getting the order, bring the drink and collect pays. Even when we trying hard to get her attention, she would just pass us and talking with other people at the bar but not giving us attention. We left very disappointed.

Bartenders couldn't make a old fashion and wouldn't remove their terrible drink from my tab "because the boss isn't here" classic excuse fof I don't want to explain to my manager I can can't mix a highball drink. Won't be back won't recommend. On the bright side the décor and atmosphere was very nice. New bartenders with new attitudes will have this place back to being a must stop at location.
