Food:

Any sushi joint worth its salt SHOULD refuse to bring you soy sauce. This is why there aren't many good sushi places in the midwest.

On weekends, it always seems quiet, but the food is good, the scotch selection is fantastic, and the cigar selection isn't bad in the least. One of few places in Indy that still value atmosphere and presentation but don't sacrifice quality.

Post edit- I've checked out the nightlife here on a few Friday nights. Great DJ and a very fun, welcoming, come-as-you-are type crowd who are big on dancing and definitely don't take themselves too seriously. There were a few people at the bar, but mostly, everyone was dancing or conversing with peppered laughter around the dance floor.

It's a unique place with a distinctive and very 'luxe' sense of style, but you never for a moment feel like you should be anyone but yourself.

I go here every week for the food and relaxed atmosphere. Service is great.

Every time I order sushi from Bu da Lounge. They never get the roll right, the way I instruct them to do. Its a $14.00 Specialty roll and every time i pick it up, I'm disappointed they cant just FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. I'm will NOT BE going there!!!!

The customer service is amazing! We had a server, but had two other servers check on us too. Our server told us their a team, and just want to make sure everyone is taken care of, and best believe we were. Best customer service I've had in years! The drinks were amazing as well, we had the dragons throne and flying grasshopper. Their martini list is what feels like endless, and I love that! The food is to die for! We had the calamari, and it was unbelievably delicious. The four treasure roll which was tuna and salmon, and the king kanni roll that's lobster and king crab. Their rolls aren't your traditional rolls, and will make any others pale in comparison. We went upstairs after dinner and had a cigar, and enjoyed their lounge laid back feel. The atmosphere is one like no other. If you haven't been here you seriously need to check it out. We will be back for sure!

This is one of the best places to go in downtown Indianapolis. They have something for everyone. I bring new people here all the time and I've yet to find someone who wouldn't go back.

The other reason I love this place is because of the staff. They are super attentive and friendly. They always go the extra mile to make sure their customers are taken care of.
