I wasn't too thrilled. The barbecue didn't even taste that great, and the coleslaw was yellow and tasted nasty! The hush puppies were excellent. Overall I would say they are way too pricy for the quality of the food. I recommend Hillbilly's Barbecue or Shane's Rib Shack for better tasting food at a much better price!

Worst BBQ place I've ever been to. Service was terrible. Waitress just assumed I wanted sweet tea. The only edible food was the French fries. Chicken and dumplings was very starchy dumplings and one tiny piece of chicken. I was with a party of six and I was at the end of the table where the waitress came. When she brought the food for the person at the other end, instead of walking it to them she passed it to me to pass it down. How lazy and rude. The BBQ beans tasted as if they came from a can. We waited way too long for having been the only people in the place. We got an ice cream sandwich at the end that was freezer burnt and the cookie was dry and disgusting. We ended up throwing it away. We will never go back.

Have to stop every time we come thru NC. The Brunswick Stew is to die for. The slaw is unique as it has a mustard taste...different, but good. Pulled BBQ is awesome....don't forget the vinegar sauce on table as it totally makes it! This is not red tomato saucy BBQ. If u want that go elsewhere. Staff was friendly and dine in experience was good. Sever kept drinks full and even gave our child a free ice cream to go. Even the ice cream was amazing. Happy customers with full bellies and a car full of Bubba's BBQ to take back to PA!

Very dissapointed. BBQ was just okay and the sides were terrible. Slaw tasted like mixture of celery and mustard. Green beans cooked forever. Hush puppies were like hard rocks with no flavor. To top it off, got a "homemade" ice cream sandwich on the way out. Had to remind two times of the price/cashier insisted on overcharging. The ice cream had NO flavor and the sandwich part was stale. It went right in the trash. The whole meal was extremely overpriced for what we ordered. Could have eaten much better quality food at same price somewhere else. It's amazing how so many people will settle for sub par food. Will never return.
