I have been going here for years but recently they have a new policy where if you don't get ice taking up all ur drink they only fill it half full and the new white girl with badly died uneven hair sucks at her job and can't even reed her own note she wrote on the cup telling her what to put in it so she completely fucked up a 2 ingredient drink how pathetic never going back.

Edit - Taking a star off for bubble quality. Hasn't been as good recently.

This is what I've been looking for in Portland. Having tried bubble tea in different places (NYC, Sydney, Auckland), I've been hoping to find a local bubble tea shop that provides a decent experience in terms of selection, customization and of course, the quality of the product.

Selection: Quite large. I believe there are at least 20 flavors with multiple styles (fruit tea, milk tea, smoothie, hot tea, etc). Though some of the rare flavors are now unavailable (rose and jasmine particularly), there is still lots to choose from, and you will find flavors here that aren't available elsewhere.

Customization: An important service to be offered. Not all bubble tea places offer to adjust your drink to your liking, specifically the amount of sugar and ice. Some flavors can be exceedingly sweet or you like the taste the tea better, so reducing the sugar is convenient. In my experience of purchasing bubble tea, it's a good sign when the shop has this service out in plain view or offers it when ordering. Shops that just have bubble tea for the novelty and are used to creating one type of tea don't usually have this.

Quality: Not the best, but pretty good. I've only tried flavors with green tea for the base, but all have been tasty. I'm somewhat biased after tasting bubble tea from Gong Cha in Sydney, which has the best variety and flavor I've ever had (passionfruit seeds in the tea). For bubble tea beginners or casual drinkers, it should definitely satisfy your craving. Though I haven't tried, I believe you can also mix and match some flavors, opening up some delicious combinations.

Either way, give it a try. Bubble Bubble Tea is located inside the Fubonn shopping center, and is right around the corner from the Fubonn entrance. Cheers.

Slightly pricey for the product, but not outrageous. There are many places to get bubble tea and smoothies in this style around town, but of the ones I've been to, this one is consistently the best. If you're in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth a try.

Been here a few times. Generally good but the last time we went they didn't dissolve the flavor powder so we asked for another and got major attitude from the lady who makes the teas. The cashier was nice.
