05/03/2015 3:58 amI've been here twice with my family. We always call in advance and reserve the seat in the kitchen. It's fun sitting there and it shows they've got nothing to hide. The portions here are huge!!! I'm actually vegan so I usually only get a pizza with no cheese. My waiter tonight Peter, is also vegan and was very informative on what on the menu had meeat or dairy. I really appreciate that!!! Only four stars because it was a busy night and they forgot to sing happy birthday to my aunt after three reminders. The manager called us not twenty minutes after we left to apologize though, which is good customer service to me. I understand it was a super busy night for them. We'll probably go back again. |

01/11/2015 5:22 amMy husband and I stopped in for a late date at 9pm and it was very dead inside, which I expected since it was late. We both know why it was so empty with no customers now. We sat at the bar and even with 3 employees behind the bar or near us it took 10 minutes for someone to come up and get our drink order. We also ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, which arrived 5 minutes after placing our order (a little too quick to be fresh). It was by far the worst Fettuccine we have ever had, absolutely zero flavor, just straight up bland, no seasoning. We then waited another 20 minutes for our check, it was basically a ghost town with no wait staff around to help us. If it hadn't been for my glass of wine and my husband's beer we wouldn't have stayed. We also had a lot of leftover pasta that we didn't take home. Will never go to any Bucca Di Beppo again. |

04/10/2014 9:00 pmPasta was dry and hard. Hardly had any sauce on my baked zitti and chicken alfredo. My garlic toast was all garlic and tons of butter...cold not even toasted. Gave them 2 chances and they failed both times with not so great expensive food. The one in san fransisco had better dishes and service than this place did. The service was just as bad. Never got out drinks refilled...we had to go find our waitress to ask for more tea and when we ordered the celebration cake to go..it was the driest cake ive ever eatn...tasted more like flour and baking powder. We also had to go find our waitress to get our cake on the way out. Shoulda known better not to buy it due to the driest pasta ive ever had. I coulda stayed home and made a better dinner for myself. |
