07/20/2015 1:06 amLasagna was huge and delicious, olive oil and basamic vinegar is a nice touch, the bruschetta was tasty also. And I can't forget to mention the taramishu is on point. Service and decor was nice. We'll be back |

02/06/2015 5:25 amGood Italian food, definitely not the best in town or in the area. A "photographer" will bug you and insist on taking your picture and attempt to sell to you after. Such a turnoff. Don't solicit me. |

12/28/2014 10:05 pmSeated right away on a Wednesday afternoon in a somewhat empty restaurant right next to the family with noisy kids. My wife said "it's his birthday", I handed them my birthday coupon but then saw a birthday song on my placemat and thought it must be a song that they sing to you and so I just did a Google search to discover that they were supposed to have a "silly song they sing for your birthday" which they did not sing to me. When they cleaned and returned our take home mugs the waitress asked if we noticed the cup's phallic shape. Wow. |

07/27/2014 2:53 amFood was great, as usual, but very disappointed by the dishonest actions of our server tonight. We were a group of 6, so the bill was high as was expected. I paid with multiple gift cards and cash, but after we started to leave the table I realized I had made a mistake with the gift cards, that they were $50 not $25, which meant that I had way overpaid. I asked to see the manager who at first seemed like it was just too bad, but after I mad it clear that I was not leaving without some of my money back she went to get a copy of the receipt. The server did not enter everything I had given him into the computer. I gave him four $50 cards, one with $30, and $170 in cash for a $250 bill resulting in a $120 tip. I'm generous, but no one is that generous. He must have pocketed the $30 card because only the $50 ones were entered and $50 in cash. I told the manager I wanted $110 refunded which still left him with a 17% tip, but since he kept the $30 card I had no proof and she would only give me $100 back. I know things are tough all over, but lying to keep a bigger tip...... |

07/02/2014 3:22 amOne of my favorite italian restaurants! Of course, there aren't many itallian restaurants in Hawaii, but Buca is great. Always friendly workers, quick seating on weekdays and most weekends, and astounding food. You HAVE to try the prosciutto stuffed chicken! It's in a creamy pesto sauce, and the chicken is always cooked to perfection. |
