10/15/2015 2:58 pmFood was good but much more expensive than I remember it being. No hostess when we walked in and I had to ask the bartender to ask someone to seat us. He looked clueless as to what to do next...thankfully a waitress walked up and heard so she seated us. We ordered a small salad (serves 2-3 $12.95) when it came it was half a head(if that) of romaine chopped with about half an onion sliced into it and olives that they had made a point to put in the description yet there were only 2 in the entire salad and we had 3 people. Hardly worth the price...maybe a $7.95 salad. We ordered Spicy chicken Penne ($21.95)...flavor was good, not horribly spicy & not much chicken (4-5 strips) . Also ordered a child's spaghetti and meatball...this was the best item for the $$. $4.99 for a large bowl of pasta and a large meatball. 2 small children could easily share this dish. So $50+tip later I'd only return to do kids meal take out. On a side note...waitress said that Hard Rock has bought them out. I'm assuming that could account for the price increase. |

07/30/2015 1:13 amThe manager at the Mesa location was very rude when I called to advise the baked ziti I ordered for take out was very dry and had very little sauce. His advice was for me to ask for extra sauce next time because the sauce drys up when it's baked! I asked why don't they put extra sauce on it to start with if they know of this issue? I will not go back to this location again. I've ordered the same dish for take our before and did not have this issue. |

05/26/2015 4:22 amWe had an event here with 40 family members and it was perfect. When arranging for the event, the cooks made special arrangements for a few family members with dietary needs. Those two individuals felt particularly well cared for and appreciated the extra effort to avoid gluten and dairy. The staff was very efficient, replacing bread, drinks and salads as needed. Everyone was impressed with the food and service. I would definitely recommend this location for large events. |

04/27/2015 12:56 amExtremely displeased with value. No pasta with chicken parm...no sauce with spaghetti and meat "sauce" called ahead and ordered to wait 20 minutes at counter. Potatoes were cold by the time we received it. Will never do this again and will work hard to insure none of our friends or family eat here either |

02/05/2015 10:54 pmFirst and last time I will ever eat here. I have heard so many people recommend this place, so I decided to give it a try. I had out of town visitors, so we decided to eat at Buca's. My other friends ordered a pizza, and salad. I ordered a pasta dish for my daughter and I to share, since the portions are huge. All the food came at the same time. The salad was delicious. The pizza they had was overpriced, and very small. I dished up some of my pasta and took a bite. The pasta was so undercooked, tough, and chewy. My pasta was nearly raw. I spit it out and flagged down my waiter, explaining the situation. He took the dish back w/out even apologizing for the undercooked food. He did say he would bring me out another dish that was cooked properly, and I agreed to wait. Meanwhile, my other friends that were dining with us finished their food. At that point the waiter finally brought out my new dish. Ok, so everyone else at the table was done eating at this point, so I had to get mine boxed up to go. I was totally disgusted by the service, no apology for the undercooked food, and not being able to eat with my other guests I was dining with. I would never return to this place, and it was a horrible experience for me. I intended to eat a meal with my friends, and instead I ate mine at home later that night, out of a styrofoam box. I wish I would have read all of these negative reviews before taking a chance on this place. It seems many others have had the same experience as I did. |
