Buddy V's isn't about the usual rich, salty, and high-calorie food that abounds the Vegas strip. I say this because the poor reviews usually center on the food being bland or of having a "low taste" factor. If this is what you're looking for, you have the rest of Las Vegas Blvd. to look forward to.

What Buddy V's is all about is healthy choices - and quality. We visited for lunch one day and were so impressed that we returned another day for dinner. The Shrimp Scampi that I ordered actually had large shrimp on the plate, and my stomach didn't feel like I ate a block of cement afterwards. Salads are fresh, prepared on the spot, and have generous portions.

What I like about Buddy V's is that the owner has insisted on a quality experience - food, atmosphere, and service, and you can tell that his input has truly mattered. Not only that, the restaurant delivers this without hijacking your wallet at check-out time.

To sum up the restaurant I would use one word: uncompromising. I think that in the long run, his vision in this venture will prevail and will be ultimately appreciated - even in Las Vegas. Easily five-stars for this restaurant.

Nice quite place, the food was great, one fussy kid loved the pasta meatballs, second kid said the chicken parmesan was great.

The adultbmeals were very well made too.

The only reason it's a four star and not a five is that that in the end it seemed a little expensive for a casual pasta lunch with the kids.

Extraordinary Classic Italian food restaurant - Buddy V's Boss Lunch provides a three course meal for $22. The anti pasta choices of veal, beef and pork meatballs and chargrilled octopus salad are unique. tiramisu is the specialty for dessert. This restaurant is a must visit in Vegas, located at the canal shops at The Venetian

I would give this place 0 stars if I could! Their service was so bad and the servers were rude! We went there around 12pm to get some lunch and the servers were not welcoming at all, plus the place was literally empty with no customers at all! We should've taken the hint! The server just walked away for no reason in the middle of taking my friend's order, and we were shocked at that! Then we asked if they had Mountain Dew, and he just didn't know, he was so confused and took forever to respond to us and just stood there scratching his head! And then we did order some drinks, which were all wrong! We were like how are these people supposed to get our food right if they can't get a soda right, which is not rocket science!! And if I'm paying $30 bucks for just spaghetti, I expect the service to be worth it!! Really disappointed, never coming back to this place, and will make sure none of my friends come here either!

Just finished a wonderful Sunday Italian brunch/buffet at Buddy's Restaurant. The quality and variety of food was better than I expected. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was so calming and welcoming as if you were in your Italian grandmother's house. The service was impeccable and our waiter, Chaz was very professional and friendly. I will be revisiting Buddy's in the near future since I live in Las Vegas.
