the food was GREAT! I was actually super impressed, the location in Amherst doesn't look like a chain restaurant at all, and totally tastes and looks authentic. The lighting is pretty bad, but they have a great menu, great chips, great staff. They're food can be expensive depending on what you get. The restaurant itself isn't SUPER clean, but not gross. The outdoor seating could've been cleaner. But pretty good experience.

I have had a variety of things on the menu but also settle back on either checkpea red curry burrito or fresh spinach quesadilla if I'm extra hungry.

I LOVE Bueno y Sano SO MUCH! The food is delicious, and the prices are very good for great food. The service is very fast. The selection is very big, and you can order your food just how you like it. You can get meat, or tofu, so it's a great place to eat whether you are vegetarian or not. I DEFINITELY recommend Bueno Y Sano.

Excellent Mexican food and probably more a bit more authentic than most Americans are perhaps used to. The portion SIZES however, are most assuredly American. This is the best value for your money that you're going to get in downtown Amherst as well.

It would be nice if they had delivery, but this is downtown Amherst we're talking about so I think that that may be asking for too much in all fairness.

Also:

Disregard the boorish ugly-American reviewer that whined about the lack of ground beef. Anyone with a brain and an ounce of cultural sense is aware that shredded or chopped beef is the de-facto standard that you should expect in proper Mexican dishes that contain beef.
