Buffet At The Kimbell, Fort Worth, Texas Restaurant Details

Food:

I use to work here. The atmosphere and the food was amazing! I tried almost everything on the menu. If I had continued working there I would for sure be good and plump.

Food:

This could have been really bad but, turned out great! I called at about 11:40 pm and asked if the kitchen was open til closing. The employee told me yes. So, the wife and I drove the 20 miles. When we got there, we were welcomed by a sign that said kitchen closed. I explained the situation and one of the employees brought over Herb, the owner. I explained again and he said "hey, no problem, let's get you fed". Chelsea was our server and she was very attentive. Good food and drink. Kitchen does close at midnight and the live music was blues and was also outstanding. Thanks Herb!! See you again soon

From the Chicken "Wangs " to the Catfish and Shrimps w/Cheesy grits (I love cheesy grits now!!) to the Sweet mini pie (Lawd !!!-Patty who?). Bravo !!!! w/ a Little Jazz music... don't change a thang....

Food:

Horrible food is the headline here. Most of the items are store bought, so you can technically save yourself money by simply going to Wal-Mart and buying a meal. I cannot think of even one item they actually cooked themselves. However, if your goal is to simply get out of the house and have fun, you will have accomplished that I suppose, but you can definitely do better. From the ragged parking lot to the tacky decor inside, which leads into horrible food this place is just plain horrible. Dirty and horrible.

My husband and I were visiting friends in Texas and wanted us to try Buttons Restaurant. What a wonderful place to dine and listen to live jazz. The food was awesome and the service was great. Of course the music was soothing and making us want to dance! Our waitress was Akasha and she was very pleasant and had great energy! The taste of the food is still on my palate! Thank you!
