02/25/2012 3:48 pmLocation is great, but the hotel is a little rough around the edges. Staff are great and the building is an interesting shape. Rooms are comfy, but there are massive gaps under doors which means you hear a lot from other rooms/corridor. For the cost of this joint it might be better to stay somewhere a little more polished. |

03/28/2011 6:43 pmI cannot understand why this hotel has any good reviews or why it is described as a luxury hotel. We arrived and were (rudely) told that check-in was not until 3 pm because the maids were still cleaning. What took so long to clean was completely unclear considering the state and size of the rooms. At the time of check-in, we were aggressively solicited to valet the car for a way-inflated price with threats of being towed and/or ticketed in an area with much cheaper parking garages on every block. The hotel concierge was plain rude to us and other customers. No greeting or welcome. No business center. The rooms themselves were beyond small. Can barely fit a queen size bed and small wardrobe, and desk. I was with my fiance and we could literally not move in the room once we put our bags down (could not unpack because no dressers. The only place to sit was the horrible bed. The "bedding" consisted of a sheet and two uncomfortable pillows--no blankets in the March in Boston?? Small (not flat screen) television. Room was so ghetto even down to the CD player alarm clock and the single roll of one-ply toilet paper (no back up roll). Curtains were stained. Fixtures were cheap and falling apart. I can go on and on. Finally, when we left, check-out took 20 minutes. Other customers were complaining at check-out to no avail. We did not even get a "how was your stay?" as it was blatantly clear they already knew how terrible it must have been. I lived in Boston for 10 plus years and I must say, I would rather stay ANYWHERE else than this hotel. In fact, we switched to Nine Zero after the second day and though it is a little more expensive, it was like returning to paradise from the 10th level of hell. |

09/07/2009 11:15 pmMy wife and i were here for 2 days in August of 2009. The room was small, but well appointed. The bath was large, but had a support pilar in it which made it seem much smaller. It has a tremendously helpful staff. The location is great, walking distance to the T, Feneuil Hall and Government Plaza and the Constitution. |

01/20/2009 10:28 pmThe inside of the hotel is pretty new. Just love the glass shower room, so new and clean! The receptionists are so nice and helpful. Ask them about Boston if you are a tourist. The hotel is 7 minutes walk to hay market station. Quincy market and boston common is iwithin walking distance. |
