My wife and I caught this little gem while watching reruns of DDD. Since we were going to be in San Antonio, we thought we'd check it out. We were not disappointed.

I had the Angus Burger with cheese, bacon and sauteed mushrooms. It was amazingly delicious. The burger was cooked just right, the mushrooms were done until they were just a little caramelized, and the bun was a perfect match to the rest of the ingredients.

My wife had the classic "regular" burger. While it wasn't fancy, she said it was a very nicely done "regular old" burger.

The fries and onion rings weren't anything to shout about - until you dip them into the spicy ketchup they have on the table. I'm not sure what was in it (I think they went over the recipe in the DDD episode), but it was like nothing I've ever had before. Spicy, tasty, and very different.

The service was excellent.

It's a little off the beaten path from the touristy parts of San Antonio. But, if you have transportation and don't mind going a little out of your way, this place is definitely worth checking out.

DELISH food, great service. Our favorite thing so far is the BBQ brisket sandwich, I recommend extra of their BBQ sauce on it! It makes it. I have been living in SA for 23 years and so have had many many brisket sandwiches and this is the best EVER that I've found. :D
