The service was okay, but the food was bad and over priced. I had to return back my potato salad, because it tasted rancid and my other friends returned their broccoli because it was soggy and overcooked. There are too many other nice restaurants around Baltimore to waste your time at this one.

Burkes was like going back into history, the decor and atmosphere was great. The menu was very diverse from maryland seafood platters, steaks to sour beef & dumplings and more. The menu also has a large breakfast offering where they would customize your breakfst choices. the prices were very reasonable for both food & drinks. the Bar had both locals and out of town people which made it festive. the Baltimore Comedy Factory is upstairs which i plan to visit next time I come to burkes. Everyone should try this place out. I highly recommend as a must go to in Baltimore, at least once. Dinner before a show at the comedy factory will be the next time i go to Burkes.

Was was stepping back in time. Great to eat at and visit a landmark in Baltimore like Burkes, owned by the same family since 1934. The food was excellent with big portions at a great price. The comedy factory upstairs was a enjoyable way to end the evening after dinner. We were also able to get a bottle of wine to take back to our Hotel, as Burkes also sold package goods.
