The food is dry and the beans and rice are oddly seasoned. The chicken was lacking flavor. The beef taco was dry and barely seasoned. We asked for them to take it back but they refused and instead have a $10 gift certificate on a $20 bill. Poor restaurant over all and service was ok (eh) ...

Still very good food but the aervice has gone down hill. Had to ask multiple times for chips after we already had salsa, then waited 10 more min after ordering just for our soda. My family have been comong here since the 80s, sad to see the service go down like this.

My family stopped by this place on the way to Washington. It was right off I5 and was convenient to get to. I ordered the deluxe red burrito for $12.50. I have no idea what made it deluxe. No sour cream, no guacamole, no lettuce, no cheese to be seen.... What I got was a bland, Americanized canned bean burrito with sparse amounts of grisly and chewy pieces of beef. My girlfriend go the tamale platter for $10.50. It was basically a thick and hard glob of corn messa with barley any filling. The best entree ordered was the soft taco kids meal my son ordered. It wasn't anything special, but atleast they stuffed it with ground beef and cheese. We wont be headed here ever again.....

My husband and I have come here about once a month or so For the past year. But we just went tonight and something has definitely changed. It's not authentic Mexican food, but it's always been quite decent and great service. I used to come here with family growing up. But I fear ownership or management has changed. It's always been a little bit of a dive, but middle of the road. The chips were stale. The grilled chicken buritto (never had it before) had frozen fake grilled marked chicken in it. The sort of chicken that is foamy and cube liked and not fresh! It was overly disappointing for $12.50 as a meal. The rice seemed different too, like boxed Mexican rice. The other rice they used to serve was more homemade. This was not. I'd say don't go unless you've been recently and like what changes have occurred. It's a little sad as a place that one has grown up has hit rock bottom and changed for the worst! I will not be returning! The service was still great, but that's it.
