This was an awfullll experience!!! They ruined my best friends bday! The service was awful. There was mold on the cheese on the enchilada. There was hair in my friends tortilla soup and the waiter spilled tequilla all over my dress!!! Do nottttt come here!!!!!!!!

Sunny autumn day in a California-like setting by the fountain. Excellent service and food: frajitas, enchiladas, fish, ceasar salad. Did not order from the bar.

I have eaten at this restaurant four times in the last six months. It is a great place to dine and enjoy the Georgetown waterfront. The appetizers are creative and tasty; the main course of fajitas and salmon are delicious and the drinks fantastic! One night we even enjoyed a spanish guitar player. I highly recommend Cabanas!!

This was the worst Mexican food I've had in a while. The $22 chicken fajitas (for one person) were so bland and flavorless. Despite the incredibly high prices they still charge you if you want chips and salsa. I'm so angry and they don't even have an email address to complain to. Everything was bland and boring. Really sad.

They say "Latin" in the advertising but the food is straight Mexican (burritos, nachos, but also ceviche).

The pricing is $20-$25/entree and margaritas are $7.50-$11 but no matter what the price, the margarita still comes in a plastic cup.

We went there on a Saturday night at 7pm and they were nearly full and looking to cycle people through quickly. Still, the drinks came late and the entree came early. My date had Mole Chicken and the mole sauce was subtle but quite good. I ordered a steak (and spinach) medium rare and it first came out quite rare. I sent it back and 5 minutes later, it was back correctly done. The flavor was good, but the cut of meat had a bit too much fat on it.

Cabanas is located in the Georgetown Harbour restaurant palace with outdoor seating facing the fountains along with many other restaurants.
