Terrible service. The server did not introduce himself, and barely said anything to us the duration of our visit. I wouldn't recommend this diner to anyone, nor will I be back.

Straight up diner. Got the biscuits and gravy; potatoes were a bit undercooked, but the main dish was good. The kind of place where they swoop in and magically refill your coffee.

I came to the Cafe when I first came to Portland and recently was there – nothing has changed including the cool wallpaper in the toilet. The food is quite good and decent serving size. Had the omelette which was very tasty indeed!

Excellent brunch spot. They're quite popular, so it's a fair wait any time you go, but worth it. OMG their bacon.

Short but sweet:
Went in on a slow tuesday morning, listened to staff BS amongst themselves for 5 minutes after seating us, before bringing us menus. The drinks were tasty, and the food was so-so. I'm a sipper when it comes to cocktails, but my drink was nearly empty before the food arrived.
I recommend this place for groups of 4 or more who want to chit-chat a bit before eating. Not so much for anyone who wants to grab a quick bite/beverage.
