It's a great place for those days you just can't decide between American or Greek cuisine. Their spanakovitas are a scrumptious delight, and their gyro meat is the tenderest. Although their chicken and steak were a bit dry for my taste. Cafe At North Kansas City is definitely worth a try.

Went there to try something new today with my family, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. As we were walking out the door we immediately all said we want to come here again without a doubt.

The owner also came around and briefly met with us, he seems very passionate about his restaurant.

P.S. The Gyros are amazing!

There is so much to love about this place! For starters the owners are amazing. They came and talked to my wife, son and me. So kind and full of sage advice! Now you went for the food, well you won't be disappointed. My wife and I are foodies and very picky, this place did not disappoint. Very authentic. I had gyro, my wife the basil tomato soup and my son the Reuben. We live in Iowa, but this would be a go to place for us if we were closer. Try it and enjoy!!!

The owner, like the fathers of both my wife and I, was a TWA employee for many years. The Mediterranean (or Arabic) connection stems from a time when TWA had a joint venture with Saudia Airlines. Many TWA employees and their families (like ours) transferred to Saudia Arabia for a few years to help set up operations and train on aircraft ops and maintenance and visa-versa.

Anyway, the food is superb! For my wife and I, it is a bit of nostalgia as well, thanks to the extensive amount of TWA memorabilia they have collected into a sort of makeshift museum in the back of the store. Check it out if you get the chance...

We stopped by here on a saturday mid afternoon place very quiet. The owner came out and chatted with us. The core is all t w a memorabilia, but the food is mostly mediterranean. We tried gyros and other sandwiches and love them. The roasted eggplant was fantastic! Its the best baba ganoush I've ever had.
