I would like to thank Edible Art Bakery for making my daughter's Hello Kitty birthday cake! She didn't really know what she wanted except Hello Kitty, we trusted the decorators to do what they do best and they did. She and her friends Enjoyed the cake design as well as the taste of the Vanilla pound cake. My son Loves dinosaurs and with Jurassic World just coming out, we can't wait until his birthday so that they decorate something delicious for him as well!

Food:

Not very impressed, at all. The oatmeal raisin cookie was good but the sugar cookie my daughter got she didn't even eat. She said it was gross. Not sure how you can make a sugar cookie gross but if a kid won't even eat it then it has to be pretty bad. Their prices are definitely high and not great quality. I also tried the pineapple upside down mini cake. It was dry. I've had better out of a box. Will not be returning. Ever. And it's pretty boring inside. They could have done so much with the interior but for some reason decided to leave the atmosphere blah.

I was very pleased with my son's cake for his very first birthday! The cake looked amazing and the taste was wonderful! He was excited about how detailed and real the animals looked on the cake as well as I was! Thanks for a great cake and an awesome experience for my first born first cake!

I went into this bakery yesterday, having heard such great reviews about their Hillsborough St. location. I was really excited about ordering my son's first birthday cake. Tarsha, the "manager" assisted me in placing my order. She was not pleasant AT ALL. When i first got there she had me wait 10 mins and there were no other customers! Then when she came out of the back of the store... she walked by us, to opposite side of the bakery and then yelled "ma'am, I'm ready." I informed her i had been corresponding with them via email and she said okay let me go find the emails and walked away. Not even giving me a chance to explain i had the pic of the cake and emails right in front of her, on my phone. So we were left waiting again. When she came back out, there was a line of 2 couples and a man who she just started helping without asking us to give her a moment to take care of those customers, even though there was another employee there who could take care of them! I asked her if she was going to take care of us or someone else would4 and she said she would be with us when she was done, she is the manager and its just her and one other person in the front and cake orders usually have to wait since its a busy location. We asked for a small sample of almond cake and she said they dont do cake tastings, i could buy a slice for $3 if i wanted to try it! So I did! then she gave me a price that was $40 more than what i was quoted in the email SHE sent me, so she honored the price but did not seem happy about it. There was also a rude email response with exclamation marks, after i emailed her a question about the price and sent the pic of the cake since she couldn't find the email. I responded telling her she was unprofessional and she made the experience unpleasant and i canceled my order. Would not refer this location to anyone... if u go here.. make sure Tarsha is NOT the one to help u. How she is a manager is beyond me, she knows nothing about great customer service.

Todd and his talented team have handled cake needs for us from intricate birthday designs (including a kick a** anime cake for my daughter's birthday) to simple sheet cakes for staff lunches. The service is always top notch, the baking consistently delicious and the decorating always fun and whimsical! And they have a really cool store front now in North Hills.
