been here several times and loved it. the only complaint I've ever had is it is SLOW. but good food is worth the wait. last night was a horrible experience. the waiter didn't bring our cheese dip. so when our food came, I said where's the cheese dip. o I forgot. at that point, we didn't want it because we would be full from dinner. but the cheese dip is so good we asked for it. you would have thought he wouldn't charge us for a half order of dip. we were shocked. then my friend asked if the quesadilla came with sour cream he said no but I can bring you one. looked at the bill and he charged .75 cents. wow! then I asked him if they had a new chef because only half of my chimachanga had cheese and he said no. he never offered to remake it or give me a discount. I will not go back to a place like this. it's horrible treatment. I will stick with Chewy's from now on!

Mediocre at best. Quesadillas had massive amounts of cheese, the guacamole was basically chopped avocados, and the salsa was ok. There was a general lack of seasoning. The pozole was good though.

Got the special this weekend Blue Crab Quesadilla. GROSS!!!!! It tasted like rotten tuna!! I am going to the doctor today to see if I have food poisoning. I have been sick as a dog since Sunday. I should have complained but it was my wifes birthday and I didnt want to ruin lunch. Ugh.....so nasty!!!!!

I experienced Cafe Capistrano for the first time last night.....and I absolutely loved it! The food was fresh and delicious with wonderful flavors. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and my boyfriend had the pork tenderloin wrap. Both were out of this world. We kept stealing bites off of each others plate. The smashed beans are a great side with so much texture and flavor. The service was amazing as well. Very attentive and super friendly. Thank you for a great experience. Will be back very soon!

This is by far the best California Style Mexican food I have ever had -- and I lived in California for quite some time. Everything is incredibly fresh. The prices are fair. The wine list is expansive, yet reasonable. Go for the Mango Shrimp Dinner.
