02/18/2016 1:12 amFirst time having dinner here and absolutely LOVED IT!!! I don't know how I haven't found this place before! My new favorite place. Authentic AMAZING Italian food. Some of the best I have ever had. |

01/17/2016 2:42 amOkay so I wanted to love coco's sooooo badly! (And I'm not a foodie snob!) I gave it two chances to blow me away and I was underwhelmed both times. I got the spaghetti bolognese the first time and it was a RICH cream sauce? It had no seasoning and I just felt like I was wasting my calories on something that was sub par. We went back again and I got the meatball pizza and it tasted pretty bleh. The sauce tasted like it came from a jar (but I could be totally wrong!) and the cheese had a plasticky taste to it. Atmosphere is good and the people are nice, but the food just isn't great. I'm sort of surprised that the reviews are as good as they are. I read the reviews and I was expecting authentic food, no such luck. If you want the best Italian food in nashville, cafe nonna all the way. |

12/28/2015 2:43 pmNormally, this is a five star place. The quality of the espresso has suffered greatly in the two years since I've been back. It seems they down graded their machine, so that may be it, or maybe they aren't using the beans they've been using for years, but I doubt it. Great food, well-priced, large portions. Love the patio. I remember when there were no walls. |

12/04/2015 7:54 pmThis place is quaint. If the right vegetation grew around it and the traffic noise faded away, you could almost believe you were by a canal in Venice! The food choices are incredible here. Vegetarians have a ton of options. Surprisingly, their brunch menu is varied. In a city filled with the same ole' items, Coco's has some really interesting egg dishes, many with a distinctive Italian twist. There is a bocce ball court outside, probably one of the few places to have one in the city. There is a deli/dessert section with some of the most delectable sweets you can try. I'd highly recommend this place for good, affordable Italian cravings. |

11/17/2015 2:16 pmI am a native New Yorker who travels to Italy as often as possible. I grew up eating some of the best Italian food in New York City and New Jersey. So, I am very picky. There are number of things this place gets right. First of all, their brunch is fantastic and reasonably priced. They make inventive dishes that are not found in other places I can think of around the US. The flavors are wildly alive and the coffee is great too. When you are done eating, be sure to check out the market with many imported goods from Italy. |
