Definitely a tourist destination and Americanized Mexican. There are other places in San Diego where you can find authentic tacos.

Our wait time was about 15 min. Our waiter, Edgar, was wonderful and very personable. The salsa & food were okay but not extraordinary.

Had their Special Burrito and it was very good!
Satisfied with my meal. They might be slightly under staffed for the day, so that's something to consider, maybe need another hand or two. But friendly service and so far, not a bad first impression. Will come back.

Taco Tuesday! Great deal on tacos, and they are very delicious. They apparently have one of the best Margaritas in San Diego, unfortunately I didn't get to try it out. Maybe next time!

This place is huge, and has a great vibe to it.

Ordered Les Trey. OMG, way to much food. Steak was perfect, the pork was superbly soft and the chicken burrito was delicious. Nice open air Mex restaurant that is typical of the area. Great service and food was top notch. Chips were the only letdown. Will be back on my next trip...

I would give this place negative 10 stars if possible. The wait time wasn't bad, the service was fine, even though they pack the tables in so tight the wait staff can't get to you in order to serve. The food was horrible...too horrible to even bother complaining about or reordering since out of the 4 orders all items were just terrible. Total tourist trap, I just hope I don't get food poisoning from the foul tasting monstrosity they had the nerve to call a fish taco.

Some of the best margaritas north of the border and freshly made-to-order tortillas put this hopping Mexican a smidgen above the other options in Old Town; it's a bit touristy, but loyalists say caring servers, fair prices and the charming atmosphere with "fun", "cheesy decor" keep them coming back.
