09/21/2015 9:23 pmThis place was an absolute nightmare. I waited over an hour to get my food and when I asked to speak with the owner, he was obnoxious, arrogant, and vulgar. As far as Mediterranean places go, I have had much better. Their food was not disgusting, but it was not premium gourmet either. I would rate their lamb as mediocre at best and would never come here. I do not know what the owner was thinking or what his deal is, but he gives Turkish people a bad name and is the reason why so many stereotypes exist against them. He is the stereotype! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE... |

11/11/2014 4:35 pmThe döner sandwich is so good, I have yet to try other dishes in the last ten years of coming here. My only gripe is the cleanliness, it's always a bit dirty and I've even witnessed the chef lay treys down on the floor only to open the fridge door. |

07/27/2014 7:28 pmDefinitely a bargain (they have a good bunch of "Washingtonian Best Bargain Restaurant Awards" hanging). The sandwiches were fantastic: the döner kebab, the best of them and they make their pita in house, so worth it. Everything was done with love . And the owners were lovely with our two-month old bundle of joy. We'll be back for sure. |

11/26/2015 7:09 pmThe pleasant flavors of Turkish cuisine are the lure at this Glover Park Ottoman, a moderately priced little place vending special dishes like doner kebabs and a fun Sunday brunch that's perfect before the Georgetown Flea Market; the dramatic setting (a Flatiron-like corner building) boasts bold, modern decor that looks like a cross between East and West. |
