The prosciutto is as fresh as I have ever had! The service can be a little inconsistent but the food is always prepared perfectly and the staff is wonderful!

Previously we would go to Epicure any time we were in downtown Sarasota. We hadn't been there in a while and decided to stop in for a glass of wine and appetizer before going to the theater. We sat at the bar which faces the kitchen. When our wine was served, the glasses looked very dirty like they had fingerprints all over them. The bartender did change our glasses. As we sat at the bar, we were able to watch the cooks prepare the food. It was a little disappointing to see them standing there eating on the food line while preparing the customers food. With all the restaurants in Sarasota, we probably won't go back to Epicure.

We had the pleasure of dining outside with our friends on a recent Thursday evening. We brought along our dogs. The service was outstanding. Everyone agreed the food was superb. Remo, the manager, took the time to ensure we had a great dining experience and that even our dogs had water. We are long-time local residents who will be sure to bring our visiting snowbird friends to the Café Epicure!

Horrible service and food. Ordered gnocchi over the phone from a lady and immediately picked it up (we live right across the street). Went home opened it up and it was pure mush. Called up and spoke to the same lady and after explaining what happened, she said she didn't speak English.

We invited friends to this restaurant today. We arrived seven minutes to eleven. Our reception was. WE DON'T OPEN UNTIL ELEVEN. Of course we left and enjoyed a good breakfast at First Watch. Where our reception was. Good morning. We will seat you as soon as possible please have a seat here is our menu. We waited for approximately five minutes and all of us knew what we wanted to order by the time we were seated. Maybe Epicure could learn from First Watch. We could have been greeted a little friendlier. For example. Good morning folks we open at eleven, please have a seat we will be with you as soon as we open. I say, Ciao amici buona fortuna e tanti auguri. We don't have to eat Italian. American will do just fine.
