I have to agree with the last two reviews. This restaurant is a total dump from the outside but when you walk in you think 'maybe it won't be so bad' because it LOOKS classy inside. When you see the prices on the menu you're a little taken back but, again, you look around and think you're in a fine dining place so the prices make sense. Then they bring you your food and...I swear the second it hits the table you'll think you've been transported to a truck stop. The pictures above are proof of this and very accurate (only they've zoomed in on the plates to make the portions look bigger than they are". My grandma cooked some awesome German food so I know that there is a place for this style of German cooking (just like there is for American cooking) but there ARE up-scale German foods too. This place is trying to pass itself off as a fine dining German restaurant in a low-budget building with low budget food.

It's simple - would you pay $35 for a chicken fried steak just because someone put a white sheet on the table and handed you a cloth napkin? Not unless it was the best chicken fried steak ever right? Well this isn't. It's the German equivalent of truck-stop food and the ol' bait-and-switch. Don't waste your time.

It was good food. The brat was good. I was expecting a little more until I tried the german chocolate cake. Close to Germany as you can get with that!
So slam dunk on that german chocolate cake, fresh cherries and whipped cream. If you are low on your german groceries this is the place for all your harribo needs!

The restaurant is run by a wonderful, fun and friendly Bavarian woman. The food is as good as you would get in Germany. It's close to the strip, but when you are inside, you feel miles away. It's a great eating experience. They have GREAT lunch specials. Worth the trip. I eat here once a day when I'm in Vegas.
