Words can't describe how clean tasting and fresh the breakfast was. I got the Belgium waffle with banana and strawberries with two eggs on the side. The waffle was like something out of a dream and the eggs were exactly what I needed. The staff was veey friendly, kept my glass filled, and made me feel at home. I typed in best restraunts for breakfast, and this place clearly gets that title.

Went for breakfast. The wait staff was engaging and enjoyable to talk with, and the food was amazing. Very good!

I love the French Toast at this place. It's extremely filling. Prices are pretty good for what you get. The waitresses are really nice. Check this place out. The lines are not too long.

When a breakfast place is crowded at 8am on a weekday, you know its going to be good and Cafe Kaila was good -- VERY good. The standouts were the roasted potatoes (crisp skin, tender inside, deep potato flavor and covered in herby goodness) and the Italian sausage (big, bold flavor). Even the bacon seemed somehow better than other places, tasting more smokey and with a tiny bit of that real, gamey (in a good way) pork belly flavor. The great food and service helped our morning get off to a wonderful start.

Awesome food. Awesome service. I love my breakfast. More then lunch or dinner. This place has been far better then most breakfast restaurants I been to. Line is long. But the wait is worth it.

"Wildly, deservedly popular", this "small" Kapahulu coffeehouse on the leeward side dishes up one of the most "awesome" breakfasts around, like "crispy waffles" and quesadillas and other daytime delights; the fare is "consistently wonderful" and staffers are "knowledgeable" but it gets "extremely busy", especially on weekends, so "go early if you want a seat!"
