07/02/2015 3:03 amThe Host is very kind, he pulled out our chairs for us to sit in! It's a very elegant restaurant, and I feel a little out of place with my current attire, but nevertheless this is a great place! |

08/08/2014 8:05 pmWhile on the pricier side, this is a great place to get well-made martinis or enjoy a long dinner with friends or family. Start your night here and enjoy great food. Keep an eye out for Milano's notable guests! |

07/07/2014 7:29 pmthe famous café Milano is anything but average! the man behind this exquisite food is Franco Nuschese, who has made dinners for many of the famous DC scene. my absolute favorite dish on the menu is the Sauteed wild Alaskan King Salmon in an artichoke sauce. For dessert I highly recommend getting the Baba cake soaked in rum syrup, filled with Nutella :) |

07/02/2014 2:15 amJust because this is where terrorists wanted to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to Washington--dont let that keep you away. Take a copy of the Washington Post because you will surely see someone mentioned in its pages while dining here. This is the power lunch taken straight from the pages of House of Cards--but you dont have to be sleeping with a reporter to eat the pounded veal chop or get a class of deep italian red from their extensive wine cellar. Most of the diners will be in business attire, but you can wear just about anything thanks to open air feel of the joint. |

06/12/2014 2:35 pmBeyond horrible. Requested gluten-free pasta for my 8 y.o. daughter with celiac disease and even asked "are you sure that is GF?". He ensured me it was, but alas, she threw up all night. The adult dishes were $20. No prices were given for the kids It was a shock to see their pasta dishes were $35. My feeling was that it wasn't kid-friendly and I was charged the "kid tax". I called the manager that night. He assured me that he would investigate the matter and call me back the next day. Two weeks later, I did not receive a call. I had to call again and speak to another a customer relations lady. She apologized, which made me feel better and refunded the portion of the meal that was on my credit card (not the $150 gift certificate I had nor the $20 cash I added to the tip). I LOVE this place but apparently it's not a restaurant to take kids or anyone with celiac disease. |

11/22/2015 8:24 amThis quintessential see-and-be-seen place in Georgetown is great for eyeballing the who's who of DC as they air kiss their way through its classic dining room and sidewalk cafe before digging into its high-priced Italian menu; but outsiders report that if you're not part of the social scene, you may feel you're not getting your money's worth in terms of food and service. |
