03/07/2015 6:45 pmPretty terrible. Went in with three of my nieces to order chicken platters with rice and the older fellow behind the counter just snarled at the girls because he couldn't see nor hear them and wouldn't take the order until I gave it to him. On top of that, the food took a long time to wait for...three chicken and rice platters was 10-15 minutes! The food was utterly expensive ($9.75 each for an item that is $6 and more voluminous at a Halal cart) and just not worth it in the end. Lastly the fellow claims the girls made a mess at a table we did not sit at, and this disturbed us as a party. |

10/20/2014 11:12 pmEh there are better options in the neighborhood. Not sure how this place can survive. The shawarma was ok. Nothing great. Falafel also was just ok. Like I said you can probably do better in this neighborhood. |

06/10/2014 8:14 pmFood is pretty good here. Takes a fairly long time to make every time I order and I am not sure if the worker behind the counter speaks English, kinda just grunts at my order. Always better places to go int he area, though there are definitely worse places to. |

08/01/2012 10:43 pmCafe Rakka is a great late night spot and also if you want something quick, meaty and inexpensive. My favorite is their shawarma or danna kebab sandwiches. It is not as good as Mamoun's on the other end of St. Marks but it is pretty delicious too! |
