11/03/2015 1:14 amNo canned, only fresh ingredients and the taste is "Real" Italian. Service is fabulous and the owner chef Antonio, his lovely bride and hostess Anna, server is son Marco. There is not a single menu item that isn't outta this World! Excellent choice for an evening dinner with great company, even greater food and best Italian wine! |

07/09/2015 8:25 pmBy far the BEST Italian cuisine in the east valley. Antonio is an amazing chef and I used to look forward to visiting from Chicago to eat here with my parents. Now that I'm living in Arizona, I make it a point to eat here often. Again, Antonio is an amazing chef and his family is like familyto me. Often times Antonio will make accomodations and create something so delicious that isn't on the menu. Pay attention to the specials!!! Great place. Great family! |

07/05/2015 9:36 pmThe owners are from Italy so everything about the dining experience here is authentic. Get to know the chef. He will likely visit your table for a quick hello. The ingredients are fresh and the meals are artfully prepared, but with a very old-world Italian sensibility. The menu offers plenty of lighter fare as well so there's something here for everyone. |

05/16/2015 5:37 amUnfortunately I have to agree with Patrick Ficker's review and say that the lasagna tasted more like a can of Chef Boyardee beefaroni than anything else. I'm not sure where all of the "amazing" reviews came from but this was overpriced, mediocre food. (I'm SO tired of that!). The staff was truly italian (they were speaking in italian to one another!) and they were all very attentive and very kind. The place was clean and comfortable (except for the duct taped booth my wife sat in). The bathroom was clean. The salad was mediocre and the dressing sub par. The rolls were crumbly and were more like day old rolls from a grocery store. I was very disappointed in this restaurant and only went there because of several great reviews. I should have known when I pulled in the parking lot and it was nearly empty on a Friday night. Bummer. At least my wife and I split the lasagna so we only spent $30 rather than $50.00. I would not recommend this restaurant. On the other hand maybe it's italian food from a different region than what we are used to?? |
