We have been eating here for years. The food is absolutely amazing. We started having them deliver to us within the last 6 months and it has been great. I was very surprised how quick and fresh the delivery is. We order from here at least 2 -4 times a month and we are never disappointed. We love Chinese food and have tried a lot of places and this is the best we have ever had.

when you order egg rolls you want egg rolls not spring rolls. Waste of money & will never order here again. Learn your own damn menu, if i was not working right now I would come throw this lunch back in your restaurant.

Thank you for failing.

We've been going to Cafe Taipei on and off for several years now, and it's become a food staple in our household. The staff are so nice, and always recognize us when we come in -- in fact, they usually remember what we want to drink, too! The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair. The dishes we most enjoy are: cashew chicken, General Tso's chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and the hot pepper chicken off of the traditional Chinese section (this is very spicy mind you, so don't order unless you really enjoy very, very spicy things)! We go generally once a week or so because it's that good. It's a great restaurant, and one of the few GREAT Chinese-style restaurants serving food in Houston (unlike the nasty throw-together buffets that seem to be on every corner).

My co-workers and I have been going to Cafe Taipei for at least 10-15 years and always found the food good and the won ton soup outstanding. Last month we went and something was off, the food just did not taste good at all including the soup so we tried it again yesterday thinking they had an off day. Awful is all I know how to describe it. The won ton soup was literally like warm water. No taste whatsoever. We sent it back and hoped we would get a better batch but it too was like warm water totally tasteless. The food was again not at all up to the standard it once was. We mentioned it to our waiter as well as the lady at the checkout. Neither of which seem to care about our concerns. They said nothing had changed. They just lost us as customers. Sad, what used to be so good has completely gone downhill.
