My wife and I took our college age son her for dinner while visiting him at school. Like others have said portions are small but incredibly good. We each ordered something different and shared. All three of us agreed it was one of the best meals we have ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves gourmet food in a charming small venue.

The chicken was amazing. It was like some sort of combination of Cajun, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisines all on one plate.

A very creative menu of "small plates," yet 3 will be as filling as a full entre. The service was friendly, informative, and prompt (was going to an event at Bradley Center and needed to be out by a certain time). The food was absolutely delicious! I live in Chicgao and was only visiting but this Milwaukee establish can rank up with the best of the Chicago boutique restaurants. The two atmospheres (upscale sports bar up front, fine dining by the fireplace in the back) are cleverly separated by the kitchen, allowing quick service to both areas. A plentiful bar with generous pours simply topped off a wonderful evening! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Vecchio is always a comfortable atmosphere to come for drinks, but if you really want to treat yourself, GET THE FOOD!! The menu is creatively designed by the head chef Mike and he is extremely talented at what he does. My favorite dinner item is the short ribs with Mike's famous east side dark bbq sauce. Also bunch is amazing, can you say short-rib benedict? Really?
