Nice little cafe, really good pastries. Somewhat hit or miss customer service that kills the whole experience. Cash only.

I usually stop in here for espresso and pastries. The espresso tastes better early in the morning than later in the afternoon. I've had both great and ok experiences here but the great outnumber the ok.

We popped into Caffe Roma for pastries and didn't stay for coffee, but the place smelled delicious and the tables were full of happy campers. It perhaps goes without saying that the pastries are all classic Italian and are quite good. Be sure to snag a few (or more) Amaretti cookies — they were divine. Biscotti are very hard and flavorful, perfect for a hot cup of coffee. Rainbow cookies are fresh and spongy and cake-like, with an injection of orange jelly between the layers. Prices are fair and the selection is large. We made a mental note to return next time we needed a tasty hostess gift or similar.
